Shurat HaDin Succeeds in Obtaining Israeli Residency for Palestinian Family that Provided Aid to Jewish Terror Victims

Shurat HaDin won an important victory for the efforts in assisting a Palestinian couple who selflessly put their lives in danger rendering aid to Jewish victims of a devastating terrorist shooting attack near Hebron in 2016. The brave couple, knowing the consequences, stopped at the scene of the terror attack that killed Rabbi Miki Mark, severely wounded his wife and two teenage children.

The couple rescued the children, rendered first aid and called the police. Shurat HaDin assisted this man throughout his ordeal. First Shurat HaDin obtained an interim order allowing him to remain in Israel for his protection, and finally, in August, establishing Israeli residency for him and his family.
