On July 26th, 2001, Ronen Landau was seeing a movie with his friend in Jerusalem. His father drove into the city to pick him up.
As they were heading back to Givat Ze’ev, Palestinian terrorists ambushed the car, shooting at it as the Landaus drove by. Ronen, 17, was fatally wounded. He left behind his parents, and older and younger brother. His school plans to open a computer lab in his memory.
The trial is ongoing.
